Note:

• Note 1:  The black grommet cable only works in the old MMI 2G AMI; the new blue grommet cable works everywhere (in MMI 2G there may be a SW update necessary..)
• Note 2:   Audi AMI cable is only fit for Audi vehicles equipped with AMI (music interface). Physically, AMI is located next to the CD Changer(such as A6 and A8), or located underneath the center armrest(such as Q7).
  

Installation Guides:

1. Pull out the head unit from the car and touch the back of the head unit for CDC port when the ignition is switched of
2. Properly connect its one end to Audi Music Interface, while the other end to any device that has 3.5mm earphone jack.
3. Put the wire harness into the proper and good place after the test successfully.

When connection is done, the device will appear in the MMI navigation. Simply press MEDIA on the MMI controller buttons.
